We specialize in science, technology, global health and international development.
The young people of Mozambique face many challenges especially when it comes to their health -- teen pregnancy, malnutrition, education and poverty. The Global Financing Facility is working with the Mozambican government and partners to make a difference. Evolving traveled to Mozambique and filmed in Maputo, Nampula, Nacala.
We are proud to have given a voice to the young people here in this video and to the many we interviewed but could not include because of time.
Expanding Our Universe: George Ellery Hale and Edwin Hubble - From atop a hill near Pasadena’s Mt. Wilson, they advanced our knowledge, first revealed by Galileo, that the universe is far more complex and diverse than the stars we see with our naked eye. Part of the Centennial Celebration of the publication, Proceedings of the National Academy, this project is one of three videos based on ‘classic’ PNAS papers.
It’s All About Taste: Rwanda Coffee - What happens when a Rwandan scientist wins a competition and an NGO [Global Knowledge Initiative] helps gather a team so they can understand how a ‘stinkbug’ might cause a potato taste in coffee? It means that the country can enter the premium coffee market and lift the income of its people.
